Last night was Albert's first soccer game in about 4 years. And he kicked and blocked through his autistic fears. He played keeper for awhile at the beginning of the game. He was nervous and with all the people, noise, yelling and BUGS .. he did well. We were proud of him and he was proud of himself. It takes nerve to overcome fears of simple noises that do not bother other people but can annoy or be painful to an autistic child or person. Just to be able to listen to coach while 50 other children are running around and 20 other soccer games are going on at the same time. Yes it was a good evening. And the final score was 3-3. Go "Men in Black" !!
