Third Grade is here

Okay... So my computer has been at the doctors for a week & is finally back and running smoothly (so far so good) SO HERE IS MY THIRD GRADER FIRST DAY PHOTOS !! He looks so happy doesn't he?? And he really is. He has the same bus driver (great man!) and he loves his teacher......... Ms. Nease !! First words about the first day of school: 1. We have to check the lunch menu mom, I didn't like it today 2. Ms.Nease is really great.... and she lets us sit on top of our desk for the last few minutes of school during the afternoon announcements and during dismissal. 3. I think 3rd grade is going to be easy because Ms.Nease is good.
I'll be sure to remind him of this in a few weeks. More to come later !!! Have a good weekend.

15 Years....

First cousins. First born to me. First born to my sister. My sister & I are 4 1/2 years apart. Our first born are 15 years apart. Abby reminds me so much of Reba at her age. So smart and mature talking. Their imagination is endless. I know 15 years is a big gap in their age but I can only wish they share a bond like I share with my sister.

Can someone please help. I've made a slide from slide.com of a few layouts and I can NOT get it over in my sidebar. I'm not understanding the directions. It has directions for blogger.com but I'm not getting it............ HELP !! THANKS.

Okay, I am asking myself: Can you blog everyday for the next 5 days? I'm not sure but I'm gonna give it a try. Even if my day seemed uneventful, You should still be thankful. So here goes...... Day 1 : Is anyone into Big Brother 10? Of course most of you know I'm a fan. This years show started a little slow to me but has now heated up. My favorites as of now are: Dan and Renny. I'm also liking Memphis. He seems like a very smart player.

No layouts to post. I am finishing one of my niece Abby and hope to complete sometime today and I'll post.

SCHOOL....... Albert starts back on the 2nd. No uniforms yet and we've bought supplies here and there without a list. So I really need to get that together. Albert is thrilled about one thing this year: "THE ROLLING BOOKING". Third graders and up are allowed to have the roller bags. Last year he was so disappointed he couldn't have one. Well, we went all over Savannah in search of the "Clear Rolling Bookbag" (they can only have mesh or clear) and NO LUCK !! Finally searching the internet I found one website. We ordered it last week and Albert has been tracking it since the order went in. And I actually mean "tracking".
After the purchase, he checked the website and waited for it to be shipped. Then has tracked it on the "UPS" website its travel from Washington to Jacksonville and now its in Savannah on the truck scheduled for delivery TODAY !! (Wow, kinda reminds me waiting for scrapbook supplies from qvc via ups, wonder where he gets it!!)

I just took this picture today. I've never used the timer on my canon and this picture turned out so cute. And I just put this layout together real quick !! I kinda like scrapbooking quickly like this, I didn't take alot of time to pick out supplies I just went with what I had laying around.

Has it really been months since I've posted???? I guess so. Well I have alot to update about and was just cruising by the blog to find out the date of my last entry. Boy have I not been a good blogger ! hopefully by tomorrow i should have a few updates and some pictures/photos/and layouts to share . Its midnight now so I'm off to watch bb10 live for about an hour then off to bed !!

Explanation of Krusty Krab

Okay, below are some pictures of "krusty krab", I didn't have time to explain at the moment I posted so here goes. Albert's teacher, the great "Mrs.Hannan" set up this wonderful program for the kids. They set up a "Krusty Krab Restaurant" in their class. It allows them to 1. Raise money for Kiss the Pig foundation 2. And learn alot during this time. First each student had to fill out 2 applications to work there. And have an interview. You got to pick your first two favorite positions to apply for. There were many positions to choose from. Ex: Hostess, Cashier, Server, Cook, Busboy, busgirl, photographer. (WELL YOU KNOW I WAS HAPPY TO SEE THE PHOTOGRAPHER POSITION) So when albert was completing his application he only filled out one and it was for the cashier. I asked him why he only done one and he said he really wanted to do the cashier position because he really likes counting money. (And if you know albert, he is really into numbers.) So you know me..... I really insisted (and because it was mandatory to complete both applications, I guess ha ha ) that he picked the "PHOTOGRAPHER" as the second position. "Please albert, you know how much mommmy loves taking pictures you should do it too" So he said okay. He was hired for both positions!! But in the end, all the students got to try out most of the positions. I went on Monday along with his poppy. And his dad went on tuesday. His dad was very lucky because he was his server during the time he went. Hokie said Albert was very professional with his greeting.. "Hello my name is Albert, what would you like to order sir?" So sweet !!
Anyway, they served Oatmeal bars, fruitroll ups, orange or grape smoothies and go-yogurts. Everything was under like 50 cents and I heard they made over $100 to donate to kiss a pig. CONGRATS TO MRS.HANNAN AND HER CLASS. JOB WELL DONE.

Mother's Day

WOW !! What a great day. Here's a slide show of the amazing day I had. It started out a little wet and I wasn't sure how it would go but "Project S.G." (Surprise Grandma) went as planned. I'll explain that at the next blog. Hope everyone had a wonderful day. I'm off to get ready for Monday... Albert has a fieldtrip for May Day.

Oh Big Brother....

I am so addicted to BB9 ! I love Big Brother. When I'm home during the day I have the live feeds on with the volume on high ! So that way if I hear something interesting I can come running to see whats happening. I watch the Showtime feeds (I dvr that from 12midnight to 3am) and I can fast forward through that if nothing is going on. And I love the tues/wed/sun shows on cbs. I AM TOTALLY ADDICTED !! I don't know what i'm gonna do when this season is over in 2 weeks. Thank goodness BB10 starts a month after that !!

Bubbles missed her "hair appointment" over 3 weeks ago due to my memory loss, of course,
and when I called they were booked up. They told me they would put on a list and if there
were any openings they would call. They never called but I called them once a week just in case
but "no openings". So she was looking like this !! The last few days she seemed a little sad and I
I think her long hair and nails was getting to her. She was in real need of a make over.



Now this is "After".... Isn't she so cute with her bow and Silver nails !! She's prissing around ... look at her sitting there with her
paw up. She doesn't want to mess up her nails !! Go girl...............

I forgot to post these cute little candy bars I wrapped up for
Valentine's. They were for some ladies at Albert's School who
usually hear from me weekly. Front office secretary, school counselor,
lunch lady, and the nice janitor lady who cleans their class every afternoon.
It put a smile on their face !!
