IT'S OFFICIAL....

THE SCORES ARE IN ................... Albert Passed the Ga CRCT EXAMS !!

Actually, He passed every exam not just the English/Reading Needed to pass 3rd grade.

So in 9 days he will officially be a 4Th Grader. I still can not get over all the exams the kids have to take and pass these days in order to move on to the next grade. Even if their report card grades are straight "A" they have to pass the state test. I'm glad we didn't have these back when I went. Anyway, I haven't posted in awhile and I wanted to pass on Albert's Big News.

To all the tweens out there.... I HOPE YOUR HAPPY

with the choice you made. And If you stayed on the phone for 4 hours to make sure your Kris won AI, well It worked. But..........BUT........ WE all know that Adam can sing circles around Kris.
This preformance with "KISS" WAS amazing. . Kris was able to use those cute little sweet cheeks and sing to those tweens and they would melt and stay on the phone and vote for hours.
But I can't wait til they start working on their own projects and see who brings it. Adam is original and his voice is amazing.


You may hear more about this later... I'm tired and dissapointed. Bye...

I really enjoy the thought of this. Maybe your family would sign up, or friends, co-workers, new strolling by bloggers like me who just happen to land on her blog. And the Lord knows how I love to make surprises for people. I've always been a giver. Yes I do love to get gifts but giving just makes my heart feel so good. (see i told you in an earlier post. Albert gets it from me !!)

Just a quick note: I was not one of the winners from Lisa's Blog where the first 5 comments were the winners. I just love giving and wanted to do this with my 10 1/2 year old son, who teaches me alot everyday about myself and giving.

6th Game + a loss = Albert's sweet nature

We loss. But Albert played very well. The first picture was a long run to attempt to keep the other team from a goal. They did score. But it was not from Albert's lack of trying to chase that player down & turn the ball. Actually by the time they made it to goal Albert was the only MIB player (3rd picture) able to get to him. In fact I think even though we did not win, this was Albert's best game. In the 4th picture he was playing "Attacker" and did great. You can't tell so much from my shaking picture, I was trying to watch and take pics, but he just kicked the ball between that players legs and followed though. You could actually hear him "grunt" when he kicked hard.
It was a hard loss. They tried really hard. We had at least 10 attempts but only 3 goals to their 12 goals. The boys were VERY upset. Shaking their heads, throwing arms around. They didn't even want a tunnel after the game. I even heard some chewing out their own team mates.
But now I have to tell you why my Albert is so special.........
I didn't find this out until bedtime. Albert road home with his Dad and told him first.
.......... Anyway, It seems Albert was so impressed with the player on the other team, the player in the pictures above with the green shoes. Remember Albert covered him, He scored against Albert and Albert played attacker against him. Well, After the game Albert went and found this player and told him what a good game. He really liked how he plays and he thinks that he is the Best Player on their team. I can't remember what that kids name is but Albert found that out too. Now that's my Albert. He has such a good heart. And after I thought about it last night. It doesn't surprise me. Its just in Albert's nature .... I'm sure he got it from me.

It was Secretary's Day this week and I made this for the Secretary at Albert's School, Ms. Oliver. She is always so cheerful, sweet and helpful. Not a great photo but it turned out pretty nice.

WORD OF THE DAY: GUM

All I can say is after this canister of Bubble Gum (thanks dad) is gone. I don't want to see any more gum.
I'm tired of finding little pieces on the bottom of my feet, on his clothes, on his face, dried on the outside of
his ear (don't ask) He really has a hard time keeping it inside the mouth. He gets so excited over Bubble Gum.
So excited that these pictures are from 7:30 am today !!! That's what he wanted time he woke up.


In other news:
1.
I did complete a layout but can't show it until this weekend. I made it for someone and I don't want to spoil
the surprise !! But I'm working on another one that I will show. Maybe later today.

2.
Saved another dog yesterday from the highway and bad weather. Tell you about that tomorrow.

good morning....

I'm going for the 5 for 5 deal this week. You know, try to blog every week day. And if I do it first thing in the morning maybe I'll surprise myself.

Weekend News:
1. Nascar- Winner Mark Martin #5 Yeah to Mark !! Mark Martin is one of Hokie all time favorites. (along with Jeff of course) So we were both happy Saturday night.

2. Saturday: Soccer. I posted about that yesterday. After soccer: Some of the players and moms went to Cici's Pizza for lunch. The kids had a ball hanging out and it was nice to just sit and chit chat with the other mothers.

3. Sunday- Took naps, done laundry, Hokie took us to the dawg house for lunch. I had the ultimate cheeseburger and it was amazing. And I love their dawg sauce. I put it on the burger instead of the plain ole ket/mayo routine. Hokie ate the Dawg House Chef Salad which is so huge. And I bet no one guessed what Albert ordered. Hokie and I bought home left overs.
Albert enjoyed every bite of his there.

4. May work on a layout this week. I've been working on and off trying to clean & organize the scrapbook/game room.

Thats all for now.

5th game.....

Well... this was our 5th game and Albert's jersey finally came in. So now I can yell " Go 26 or pay attention 26 or good going 26" instead of just yelling his name which really doesn't matter to much because he says he tunes me out most of time !! These pictures are from Saturdays game. And it was so intense. We lost 3-4 but the boys played really hard and did well. That's what I say. But according to coach after the game he called them over and Albert told me they have a rough practice come Monday afternoon. :(
